बेत्रावति सँगै सुरु हुने रसुवा जिल्लाले अन्त्यमा चिनलाई झण्डै १६ कि मी को दुरीमा राखेर बैदेशिक नाकाको पर्खाईमा बर्षौदेखि टोलाएर बस्न बिवस छ , स्याफ्रुबेसी बजार ।

हिसिला यमिले १९५० को सन्धिलाई उल्टाइन भने नेपालले चिनसँगको नाका खोल्न भारतको सहमति लिनु जरुरी हुने छैन् होला । नत्र भने त स्याफ्रुमा बाटो खुलेको दुई दसक बितेपनि हामीले चिन जोडने अबको १६ कि मी को कच्ची नै भएपनि बाटो खोल्नको लागी बिदेशीको मुख ताक्नु पर्दैन होला ।

हिमाली साईकल दौडमा स्याफ्रुबाट गत्लाङ जादा बिचको गोदाम नेर एकजना सानो फुच्चे केटाको फोटो खिच्ने अर्को दौड त्यहा देखियो । सायद पत्रकारहरु बढी भएर होला। तर त्यो भाई डराएर भाग्दै जादा मैले आफ्नो क्यामरामा कैद गरे। सायद् उसको त्यो हेराई, कुनै आशा छ, समाजप्रति।

चन्द्रशेखर कार्कीको शब्दमा फोटो पत्रकार बाहिरी देशमा हो भने रिपोर्टरको तुलनामा धेरै अगाडी हुन्छन् तर हाम्रो देशमा भने उचित ठाउ दिन कन्जुस्याई गरिन्छ । स्याफ्रुबेसीमा भेटदा ति होनहार फोटो पत्रकारसँगको एकछिनको भेट मेरो लागी त बहुमुल्य थियो नै। आज नेपालमा प्रकाशित तस्बिर देख्दा सायद हजार शब्द भन्दा बढिबोल्न सक्छ जस्तो लाग्यो तस्बिरले। पछाडीको देखिएको सालासुङ्गी हिमाल र गणेश हिमालको मनोरम द्रिश्यमा साइकलको ब्रेक लगाएर एकक्षण त्यो द्रिश्य ले कुतकुत्याइरहन्छ , कन्चन हिमाल हासीरहेको ।

उनकै सब्दमा तस्बिरको बयान पनि पढौ न नेपालमा......

सुरेशकुमार दूलालले सफलताको शिखर चुमेरै छाडे । गत साता रसुवामा आयोजित पहिलो माउन्टेन बाइक दौडमा उनी प्रथम भए । पारि मुसुक्क हिमाल हा“सेको छ अनि वारि रोङ्गा भञ्ज्याङबाट उनी अगाडि बढ्दैछन् । यस्ता प्रतियोगिताहरू हरेक वर्षआयोजना हुनसकेमा नेपालको पर्यटन विकासले पनि शिखर चुम्ने थियो ।

२२ बर्षे अल्लारे उमेरमा झण्डै सत्तरी जना बिधार्थीहरुको ५ बर्षको लागी अध्ययन छात्रब्रित्ति सहयोग गर्ने र साथै रसुवाको नशा नशामा सामाजिक भावनाको बिजारोपण गर्न सक्षम किसन देवकोटाको प्रयास आफैमा उदाहरण हो, युवा जोस र जागरणको।

चर्चाबाहिर रहेर पनि उनमा रहेको निरन्तर लगनशिल भावना नै समाज भित्रको आट जस्तो, परिबर्तनको सुत्रधारजस्तो र र र एक नदेखिने माया जस्तो । उनले ठुलो ठुलो एन् जि ओ जस्तो ब्यापार गरेको होइन , समाजको जरा जरामा पानी हालेको हो , त्यसको असर अहिले देखिदैन तर त्यो झ्याङ्गिएपछि एक गजवको आकार लिन्छ ।

उनले मलाई इमेल गरेर मेरो बारेमा गहिरो जिज्ञासा राखेका रहेछन् । उनको रसुवाको बारेमा अनुसन्धानात्मक वेवसाइट बनाउने योजनाको लागी मेरो शुभेच्छा छ । उनको इमेलका केहि शब्द उनकै अक्षरमा ............One more question, is it YOU? that Umesh in MYSANSAR.com? Orsomeone else with the same name? Just curious? .........I will finish my examin jestha and then may be will be trying to gather some information to put in the website if I got good support from the Govt, TRPAP and someof my friends. ........What I want to do is to assure that my intention and idea will be productive and effective as well, otherwise there is no point in rushing for nothing. ......................This monsoon also may destructive forthe villagers in Rasuwa, if anything happened, we all should try to coordinate resources and supports to provide emergency relief to them...........

My first reaction to a big slope and the U-turn of the gravel road was to look at the driver.
“Is he experienced enough to take us safely?”
I asked myself.
He was smiling amusingly thus I concluded unless the man is eccentric, he would take us safely.
His one mistake was enough for our deaths deep down the slope where I could see the lining of the river.

At evening, we were at Syaphrubenshi (or Syaphru or Syafru or Syabru). It was the gateway for the trekkers treking to Langtang region. After receiving the traditional welcome from the Tamang girls (they give you a palmful of drink – mostly alcohol but here it was Coca Cola, and put a shawl around your neck), I went to the guys who were busy telling us the hotels.

“I need one with TV and cable,” I demanded.
He said, “Shree Ganesh.”
Other journalists went to other hotel designated for media while I started looking for mine. “Shree Ganesh?” A guy asked.
“Yes.” He called me in and it turned out the hotel was without signboard and not very good.
“TV?”“Yes. 21-inch color at the eating place.”
“Foreign channels?”“Yes.”
Aha! That was a relief and through I felt like the passage of the hotel a little narrow, rooms smaller and the eating place with 21-inch color TV smelling alcohol, I was happy. ( ...more)

फलामखानीको लागि प्रसिद्द गणेश हिमाल जाने त्रिसुलीबाट १०५ कि मी लामो बाटोको दुई तिहाई खण्ड अर्थात लगभग् ८० कि मी मा पर्ने पार्वतीकुण्ड ताल नजिकै सचित शमशेरको घर तेतिकै जिर्ण अवस्थामा छ । बुद्द जयन्तिको तिन दिन अगि म तेतै घुम्दै जादादेखिएको यो भिमकाय घर उनको देहान्त पश्चात् भर्खर सम्झदाखेरी के लाग्छ भने .के को लागि हुन् यि झल्याक् झुलुक् सपनाहरु। किन यो दौड सन्सारै ओगटने?

सचितको देहान्तबारे मेरो सन्सारमा पढनुस ।
